About Ghosts of New York

New York City has plenty of ghost stories carved right into its concrete bones, and the guides at Ghosts of New York want to share them all. They offer 14 different year-round tours, ranging from tracing the steps of historic figures such as George Washington, to searching out the film locations where movies spirits came to un-life. They even lead phantom pub crawls in the East and West Village, touring establishments where customers have spotted the horrifying specters of empty pint glasses.

The tour guide, while nice enough and knowledgeable, gave a history tour and included very few ghost stories. I expected an element of spookiness and there was none. If history is your thing, it's a great tour. I just think it was misleading to advertise it as a ghost tour.

I was not aware of Ghosts of Palm Beach before finding them on Groupon. My husband & I really enjoyed the tour. Our guide was great!

The your guide read from note cards the entire time and kept repeating herself. It was unfortunate since New Haven has so much history and is rich with interesting events. I was very disappointed. I knew more about new Haven and their ghosts than the tour guide. The Wallingford one was even worse. We literally walked down center street then back up stopping at the cemetery telling us very little about any ghosts. The attendees had better ghost stories. I've been to several very well done ghost tours in the past including the Keys and Savannah. This was amateur and seemed like a backyard side gig. Don't waste your time it money!
