Shepherd's pie had good flavor and was plentiful although it needed more peas and carrots. The fish & chips were good, the cod was cut thick which was perfect but the batter wasn't light & airy like beer batter should be.

Have gone there for a long time. Food is good, comfortable atmosphere and the beer is cold. What's not to like.
