Dim lights cast a warm glow across burnt-orange walls and white-linen covered tables inside Figaro's dining room, which serves as a welcoming environment for both families and romantic dinners. The room's large windows can be opened to the tree-lined street, sending in a light breeze, great views of uptown New Orleans, and premature feelings of nostalgia as guests dine on pasta and seafood dishes. Along with seafood risotto and pasta primavera, Figaro's chefs also concoct gourmet, Neapolitan-style pizzas such as the shrimp and cilantro pizza with roasted garlic cream sauce. An outdoor patio gives guests the option of dining under the open sky without painting the ceiling the color “solar eclipse.”
