NOLA Grand Canal Hotel & Spa, New Orleans

It was quiet.

Very convenient to Trolley car which stops right in front of hotel. Trolley takes you to famous streets. Hotel very nice for price. Manager was very friendly and helpful.

I have always had very good results from Groupon in the past, this was a bust 1. We didn't realize that FEMA, had rented most of the rooms for displaced people from the flood in Baton Rouge floods, the hotel had a boarding house atmosphere to it. 2. The veranda was dirty with overflowing ash trays, that were not emptied the 2 nights and 3 days we were their. 3. The keurig coffe machine either had no water in it or no k-cups for coffee or tea. 4. All plants on the veranda and patio were dead and totally un-appealing. 5. And worst of all the general manager told us if we wanted to come back that to go to the app "hotel tonight " and we could book a room for between $79-$89 per night, which is a lot cheaper than I paid for.
