Once upon a time, the 90,000 square foot newsroom on 44th Street buzzed with the clack of typewriters used by eager New York Times reporters. Though it's no longer a home to America's paper of record, the space still houses to a signature sound: the crash of bowling pins. Located in the heart of Times Square, Bowlmor Times Square adds an upscale varnish to bowling's no-frills charms. Chandeliers, Art Deco columns, and handsome wood accents set the scene for spirited games on 50 lanes spread across 7 bowling lounges. Each lounge reflects an iconic New York era or neighborhood; players might roll for strikes in Chinatown, or shoot for a 7-10 split on Coney Island's boardwalk.
