"At Blossom," says the restaurant's website, "we are first and foremost about animal caring." A quick glance at the expertly crafted dishes populating the restaurant’s online gallery reveals just how dedicated the restaurant’s chefs are to creating delicious vegan food that pleases all the senses. Pan-seared seitan in a lemon/white wine butter sauce, jackfruit adobo tacos, and margarita cheesecake are just some of the varied flavors that compose Blossom's menu of vegan cuisine made with an eye for presentation. Many dishes are also free of gluten, nuts, or soy; the menu includes a legend to tip diners off to the specifics of each dish.
Blossom on Carmine occupies three artfully adorned locations, each with its own small menu variations. At the Carmine Street location, meals are savored amid the bustle of an open kitchen and built-in bar in the upstairs dining room and filtered light from a crackling fireplace and flickering votive candles downstairs. Pops of black accent khaki walls and warm wood at the Chelsea location, and chalkboard menus and the same black-khaki contrast dominate Blossom’s Upper West Side dining room.
