Citi Bike, operated by NYC Bike Share, LLC, is New York City’s new bike share system that was introduced on Memorial Day in 2013. New Yorkers and visitors have already taken more than 5 million trips to countless places on its 6000 bikes. Pop over to Midtown to gaze at Rockefeller Center's tree or Macy's holiday window displays. Sail down West Side Greenway to take in river views. Ride over the Brooklyn Bridge to explore Dumbo. In reality, the bike-share program's options are endless, thanks to its 332 stations scattered every few blocks throughout Manhattan below 59th Street and in Brooklyn neighborhoods including Williamsburg, Clinton Hill, and Brooklyn Heights. Members can enjoy unlimited 30-minute rides between the stations on sturdy, comfortable bikes that have been designed for city riding—front and rear LED lights keep the bike visible and bikers sit on foam-paddle saddles.
