Skinney Medspa is located within a hustling hair salon in the shops at the Plaza. Walking in, you are slammed with the chaos, odor, and noise of hair dye, product, and treatments. I have had two IPL photo-facials there. The treatment room was very clean and quiet, the machine was modern, the technicians I had were knowledgable, professional, well-trained, polite, friendly, and well-groomed. I have seen improvement in the tone and texture of my skin. This is not a pampering experience - it is a quick, in and out, high tech treatment - which works. I plan on returning.

I wanted a Fraxel. I had a $200 gift certificate that I used to purchase it. The technician talked me into a Photo Facial instead. (That's a $100 value and I didn't get anything back.) She didn't seem to have expertise. She didn't leave the numbing gel on long enough to do anything. I've had this treatment before and I could see some results right away. Like a bit of pigment come to the surface. In this treatment ... nothing. And I NEVER saw anything as the weeks went by. I do know it takes more than one but I should have seen SOMETHING. I felt a bit cheated. This was a gift. I wouldn't have minded the cost if the treatment had been effective but I ended up feeling like I got nothing and wasted my time. Needless to say, I won't go back or recommend. I'll definitely be careful before I buy another treatment from anyone. I was spoiled. The other place I went was in Arizona ... wow ... they were so good! I saw results for weeks. My face looked great from the stimulation. This treatment was a big nothing.
