An efficient and bustling flower shop on the Upper West Side, Posie’s is best known for its beautiful bouquets. The slim space is little more than a tiny rectangle, with products lining each long wall. Ready-to-go bouquets, arranged in tall glass vases, line the store’s south wall, offering plenty to look at while shopping for the perfect presentation. Shoppers can also choose from the five rows of cut flowers in metal buckets arranged along the north wall, creating their own unique arrangement on the fly. The flower preparers on staff also do custom work for larger special events. It’s not hard to find Posie’s if you’re looking; the tiny storefront spills onto the sidewalk, with buckets of seasonal items hanging from the awning and placed around the door. The storefront also offers monthly classes in flower arrangement.
