Synergy fitness is perhaps not for anyone looking for a fancy spa-gym but if you are looking to lift weights, do some cardio and get in shape - this is a great deal. And at the East 14th street location, R.J and his staff are so welcoming and embracing that it makes you feel right at home. The Groupon deal only allows you to work out during off-peak hours (9-5), which might be difficult for some but it is perfect for someone like me! The gym is a decent size of two levels with various cardio, weight machines and stretch areas. The gym is clean and has all the essentials. When I was there, only men were working out so it was a very masculine environment but everyone was very friendly, jovial and helpful so both my friend and I felt right at home. At this price, you can't beat it!
