yes, they wld not take my reservation and when i got there, they said do you have a reservation ? i said no, the idiot girl that i spoke to would not take it, so i had to sit at the high table near the front entrance, it was freezing, i had my 2 kids with me, the food came about 3 minutes after the appetizers, i hate that, that is the worst experience when you are out to eat. then when i get the check there is a service charge ? that was never stated on the groupon. Groupon took care of the problem for me.

The service was poor. The waitress felt to tell us she had been there since early that morning and was tired and ready to leave. Her service reflected that. When the check came the gratuity was already included. It was 20 bucks. We gave her an extra 5 bucks....thinking hey everyone has a rough day once in a while. But she did not truly deserve it.

My friend and I went with the groupon(we like the one in murry hill so we thought we would try this one). I called a week before to make a reservation, but I was also told we should not have a problem getting a table. Whenwe got there, my name was not on the list and we were going to have to wait 30 mins. However, they were able to seat us in 10 mins. First they put us at the table where other people have it reserved and told us we would have to be gone in 30mins. The maitre d' was able to change tables for us. We order our food and the main dished came out before the appetizers. So we waited a few more mins and they finally came out, but they were cold and gross. The food was awful. I asked for my burger to be medium well, but it was dry and burnt. I also left like we were being rushed out the door. We left hungry because we could not eat our food. It was not a good experience and I will not return to Tonic. I wish we never bought the groupon!
