1.What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? Franks & Sammies offers 27 gourmet hot dogs and over a dozen premium sammiches and homemade soups. Offering out items in grilled wraps is one of the things that sets us apart from others in the hot dog business. We offer vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options as well. Each item on the menu is named after a correlating song which always tends to make a customer smile the first time they see the menu. While we have many items on the menu, customers are encouraged to create their own style of dog as well which sometimes make it to the menu. Some of our items include “Pigs” a BBQ pulled pork, bacon wrapped hot dog. “Come as You Are” a Seattle dog with cream cheese, sauerkraut and yellow onion. “That’s Amore” a spicy Italian sausage with pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese and pepperoni. “What a Girl Wants” a creamy chicken salad with fresh roasted chicken, red grapes, green onions and seasoning. “Rock Me Baby” a turkey reuben with thousand island dressing, sauerkraut and swiss cheese.

2. What was the inspiration to start or run this business? The owner wanted to be able to offer customers food options that were new and creative, not something already being offered in the area or anywhere for that matter. His drive comes from working for something that he believes in and has creative control over. The wrap inspiration stems from his own personal taste and texture preferences, even as a small child would make sandwiches using tortilla wraps.

3. What do you love most about your job? Love creating delicious tasting items and watching customers come in and fall in love with not only the food but the atmosphere and the whole concept overall. Love getting to know the regulars who come and sharing our creations with every single person who walks through our door.

4. What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer? Besides just coming in day after day, week after week? We had a customer leave a review on our page after his first experience saying ” I'm in town on work and randomly went here. This place is the Real Deal Holyfield! My food was awesome.
