It's a beautiful restaurants with an amazing view the waitress was very sweet and helpful but unfortunately the food's not the greatest. We had the calamari which was a bit chewy and very lightly breaded with not much flavor. My daughter had the breaded chicken which looked very overcooked and had no flavor it seem to be missing herbs and salt. I had the pizza margarita and if I hadn't known better I would have thought it came from a box. I don't really like to give bad reviews but for $60 I think that it merited and honest review. Like I said the view is amazing the restaurant is absolutely beautiful but the food is lacking in essence and flavor

I've been a huge fan of Pelican Hill since the day it opened and was so disappointed in the the overall experience this time to the point that we will not be returning. The only good thing was the view.
The service was not up to par on any level (other than the valet folks who deserve 5 stars).
The food was blah...no other word for it. The buns were cheap white bread not the usual brioche buns and a small side of sweet potato fries was $9 as a substitute for the included chips which I was not served...seriously!
For a place that has always prided itself on 5 star service/experience I would never waste my money there again. So disappointed.

We had good drinks, mostly good food - lovely, relaxing atmosphere, fabulous view, and excellent service! Our waiter was attentive enough, but not overbearing. We sat out on the patio, and though it was chilly outside, the overhead heaters and the comfy optional lap blankets made it so nice! We enjoyed a very comfortable evening. The Margarita pizza appetizer was delicious,as well as the Shishito Peppers. The Chicken Lettuce Wraps were disappointing and the limited dessert menu was just fair. Otherwise, I recommend this impressive and friendly Coliseum.
