Inna's Kitchen, Newton

Alex Khitrik's mother was born in Belarus, where she first learned to cook from her dad. Her enthusiasm for Jewish cooking and regional specialties trickled down to Alex, who began experimenting in the kitchen as a child and has since grown into a passionate baker himself.

At Inna's kitchen, Alex and his team prepare everything from scratch. That means they craft falafel from dried pickles, and cure their own corned beef and pastrami without nitrates. Their menu features Jewish cuisine from around the world, including challah French toast in the mornings and deli sandwiches on freshly baked sissel rye, pumpernickel, and challah rolls later in the day. The kitchen is also gluten-free by default, meaning most deli items, soups, and entrees are celiac-friendly.
