Skyline Hotel & Waterpark, Niagara Falls

The Skyline hotel is VERY outdated! The hotel is clean, but desperately needs remodeled. The least they could do is upgrade the beds and linens in each rooms. The mattresses are spring, old and worn. Stay away from a courtyard room unless you want children staring into your window even if it’s just cracked. The Waterpark is just as old and needs renovating, the floor is crumbling and pieces stick to your feet as you walk. The stairs are literally falling apart to go up to their cabana area. You pay far too much money for the condition of the park and hotel.

My experience was actually pretty bad lol considering I had been there several times before. This was my first time using Groupon. All I can say is it would’ve been a $200 Canadian savings if I would’ve just booked directly on the site instead of booking on Groupon. And then it charged me for two rooms and I didn’t even realize that we had two rooms until I showed up and the people at the resort told me I had two rooms! I am now awaiting a refund who knows if that will happen. The rooms have no conditioner just so you know they have shampoo and body wash so if you’re just trying to save travelling with Products make sure you definitely bring conditioner and then they were behind so our rooms were not ready on time. And then, if you book with Groupon, you don’t get any extras for free and if you book directly on the site and not only do save money. You also get a whole bunch of free stuff that they throw in that you can go and do downtown . When we go into our room, I walked into the bathroom to put our toothbrushes and toothpaste, etc. and there was a long piece of brown hair sitting on the side of the bathtub. No idea if it was the maids or it just simply wasn’t cleaned pretty disappointed. Then don’t forget to read the fine print in the waterpark they no longer supply you with towels you have to bring your own and then if you walk through the skywalk make sure you already have your wristbands on you have to do that yourself. Lockers are $14 if you want it for the day .

The Waterpark was great. The hotel was not! got to check in early but they could have used more time in cleaning.my 5year old discovered a bra behind the bedside table. There was trash on the floor, they did send someone to retrieve the items, but nothing else. Once we were ready to sleep we had to stay up because outside our room was movie night until 10 and kids were screaming nothing was done

First off the wait to check in was ungodly insane. I waited in line for over 50 minutes. It was cold because more people kept coming in and there was probably 30-40 whinny kids. There was NOOOOO parking close and it was awful. And a lot of people checking in at 3 were not able to get into their rooms because they were not cleaned and ready!!! The amount of little kids pooping in the waterpark is crazy. Honestly even if you have kids stay at the Sheraton and get their packages! Much nicer and quieter hotels, 2/3 cheaper and better food vouchers. Our casino stay even had an awesome arcade thing for our kid! I know the wait to check in and experience wasnt all the fault of the skyline hotel but hands down the quality we got with the four points Sheraton I was thankful we left our trip finishing with the sheraton!
