About Rock'N Roll Rib Joint

Most everything you need to know about Rock 'N Roll Rib Joint is right there in the name. There are ribs, of course, smoked for hours in the St. Louis tradition. Then there's the Rock 'N Roll part of the equation, which surfaces in a diverse collection of musical ephemera that ranges from a wall-sized collage of well-known LP covers to a wall plastered with old concert tickets.

There's a lot beyond the rock and the ribs, though, including the brisket, which pit masters cook "low and slow" for more than 12 hours, juicy burgers and sliders, and sandwiches stuffed with pulled pork and applewood-smoked chicken breast. And for the encore, slices of flourless chocolate cake, key lime pie, or pecan pie finish out the meal on sweet note.

Really liked this restaurant, but unfortunately they went out of business.

We had the ribs and they were excellent - very meaty and tender. The cole slaw and corn bread were very good but I wouldn't recommend the fries - get the baked beans instead!

The food was awful! When you order a rack of ribs they usually come all together. The ribs were cut up and they were below average. The brisket was 4 slices and they were bone dry and chewy. They were out of the best side choice Mac & Cheese at 6:00 pm. Then they said they had a little left if we still wanted it and it was shells with watery fake cheese that settled at the bottom of this tiny cup and bone dry on the top. The food was pricey even if it was good food but I wouldn't mind the price if it was good. The waitress was probably the best part of the dinner. She was nice and prompt unfortunately she had to serve awful food! So my Tip to share is don't go.
