This is a wonderful zoo to take your family. There aren’t a ton of exhibits, but the exhibits that are there are great. We love the jaguar exhibit and the giraffes. B There’s a playground so kids can run around and have fun. Truly a great little zoo.

Wonderful experience with us and our 2 children under 4 years old. Lots of animals to see, bathrooms were in great locations, the playground was huge and we had a great little picnic there.

Great deal, small zoo but awesome experience being able to feed the giraffes $3 extra a person. Zipline adventure if fun also. Nice playground inside that kids love to stop at. Free parking. Can bring food in. Also, you can feed the birds which is also fun.

Great little zoo. Perfect way to spend a summer afternoon.
It all started with a farmer's generosity. In 1924, a civic-minded citizen handed over 16 acres of lush farmland and a small group of critters to the Borough of Norristown. Today, the Elmwood Park Zoo welcomes guests in hopes of creating a future stock of wildlife lovers and conservation advocates. A menagerie of exotic animals from all over the globe—from ocelots and gila monsters to red pandas and amphibians—peer back at visitors from their habitats or during live animal shows. Guests can participate in feedings with bison, giraffes, birds of paradise, or barn animals, or spy on more than 15 species that are threatened or endangered.
