I enjoyed the visit and I have recommended the place to a friend who lives in the area. For me, it's a bit too far out of the way to visit often.

Steak and lamb was 'sold out'. I don't believe it. I read another review from someone who went here with a groupon and they were told the same thing.

Its not a good choice for anything. It was a rip-off and the quality of the food was poor. Found a hair in our meal, waited so long for menu, no greeter and no acknowledgement. At the end we paid for even the hair, no offers at all to change our opinion.

If you are going to change a Groupon, please let customers know BEFORE they order. At 6pm on a Saturday night, how could you NOT have calamari and lamb? I was so turned off by the waitress who obviously has had no previous waiting experience, the lack of decor and the fact that so many foods were "unavailable". I will NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I dont even know where to start. We showed up at 4:30 in the afternoon. The server took my coupon and disappeared after she told us to sit anywhere. When she came over to take our drink orders she asked if we wanted can or bottle drinks. A can of diet coke was 2.50! So we ordered our appetizer at the same time. We ordered bruschetta for our app. It was very good. We then ordered chicken parm and pasta primavera which I added chicken to- since it would keep it under the allowed 22.99 limit for an entree (bad idea). Our meals can very quickly and were piping hot. They were very good. We hadnt seen our waitress in about 10 minutes. She brought us rolls as we were finishing our meals. Then it got worse. We sat there for about 20 minutes. I needed a box for my leftovers. My boyfriend had to go ask another waiter for one (which I am assuming was the manager) We got our box. Then we wanted dessert. Since our waitress was no where to be found, we went back up to the counter and asked for it. We waited 10 minutes for our chocolate mousse cake which was actually very good. When the OTHER waiter brought us our bill there was a $5.95 charge for my chicken (which was quite a minimal amount) in my pasta. I asked why I had to pay for my chicken since my meal was still under the alloted amount. He explained it didnt matter and it was an addition. So my $29 groupon ended up costing us another 20 dollars. There was noone else in the restuarant and the service was still that terrible. The food was very good and had big portions, but the service was horrendous. I would NEVER go back to this restaurant. We felt as if we were a nuisance. It was not worth the money. Terrible and unacceptable.

it was NOT good - we were the first one's there, still had to wait and wait and wait for the meal, my chicken (pollo) dish had thin dry cutlets, our server left the restaurant after delivering our apps and the next server forgot about us even though there were only 4 other people eating, the decor is bland and uninspiring and a dirty-deep frier oil smell hung throughout the restaurant

From Our Editors

Inside the kitchens at Il Vagabondo, cooks whip up rosé sauce—a smooth and creamy pink gravy made from fresh-milked tomatoes—to splash onto robust servings of pasta. During dinner, marinated Angus steak medallions arrive at tables slathered in sautéed mushrooms and dry-marsala gravy, and at lunch, pizza pies or meatball sandwiches pair with crisp greens and fresh veggies from the salad bar.
