Mill Town Haunt, Dundas

Weeks before the Halloween season kicks off in mid October, volunteers haul lumber pallets and giant props to the site of the annual Mill Town Haunt, the nonprofit haunted house that helps raise money for charity. The haunt is staffed only by volunteers, who help construct the sets and dress in their scariest costumes to terrify visitors. Attractions change, but 2015 featured a haunted maze, spider lair, dollhouse, asylum, and CarnEvil tent full of grotesque clowns.

Proceeds from Mill Town Haunt go to such organizations as the Northfield Food Shelf and Northfield Historical Society's Save the Northfield Depot.
