From May to September, the Norwalk Seaport Association leads scenic boat tours on the waters of Norwalk Harbor. Captains ferry passengers to Sheffield Island for seaside tours of a 19th-century lighthouse, as well as weekly themed excursions including bird-watching trips, sunset cruises, acoustic cruises, and island clambakes.

Wonderful trip...a true "three hour Tour!" Beautiful harbor views, comfortable boat, competent tour guide and skipper! We thoroughly enjoyed the lighthouse tour and island. Be sure to bring a picnic lunch! There can be green flies, so bring bug spray.

The tour to Sheffield Island is a hidden treasure. The ferry captains and crew are professional. The outward tour commentary is interesting. We love to take a picnic, sit by the water and go beachcombing. The Lighthouse tour is a so so experience. It's interesting to see inside...once. The furnishings are "of the period" and with exception of a kitchen table, are not original. Overall the experience of being out on the water, seeing the birds - ospreys, comorants and egrets - is spectacular. We sometimes forget we live by the water.

IT was great. When I had a problem redeeming the Groupon they worked it out no problem. The ferry ride was great and the staff was helpful. Nice day out. Thanks .
