Hotel Charlotte, Groveland

We enjoved staying in the renovated rooms of this quaint "old west" hotel. The staff made us feel very welcome and answered any questions we had about the area. I would definitely come back again if I were going to be staying in the area.

Truly enjoyed our stay and hospitality at Hotel Charlotte. We hope to return one day in the near future.

My friend and I had a wonderful experience at the Charlotte. The hotel itself is charming, the service was so friendly and helpful, and the proximity to Yosemite is ideal. I would love to come back again sometime.

We stayed two nights. The first night we were placed in a room with a queen size bed with one side placed up against the wall. We are seniors and my husband has a bad back. The only way I could get out of the bed was to climb over him, which was very difficult and of course there was no way I could do it without waking him up. As I get up several times during the night we were miserable. We requested a different room for the next night. Luckily only because there was a vacancy we were given another room, which was lovely. I suggest that the first room we were in only have a twin or at most a double bed and not be represented as a queen size room.
