Although food was good, the place was empty and a bit awkward given that there was little noise and no music. The manager was inflexible how I could use my Groupon...all other places I've been to allow you to use the discounted value of the Groupon versus forcing you to buy a set type of dish.

You shouldn't work with them. It reflects badly on Groupon when the quality of the participating businesses is so low.

The setting is dead and staff wasn't far behind. Food and service (and ambiance) are loosers.

This was my second attempt at using my Groupon. Successful in comparison to my first attempt. We had a party of four. The food was pretty good. Just make sure to plan your time accordingly if you're on a time crunch or have additional plans for the evening (2.5 hours minimum). Other than that, the service was pleasant.

The creme brulee was ice cold at the bottom - seemed like it was frozen and then microwaved - blah. The appetizer of clams and mussels was too small to be shared by two people but it had a good flavor. The service was a bit strange; she seemed unsure, uncomfortable, and inexperienced. She was unable to answer questions, wasn't personable, and there was also a lot of slamming plates and drinks on to the table which was a bit distracting. If we had paid full price, I would not have been happy due to the service and cold dessert (including wine and beer, the bill would have been about 75 +tip - for 2 people). I did enjoy my entree and that the chef came out and said hi and the manager too.I did enjoy it due to the groupon discount. If I had any advice it would be: 1.) maybe play some low music, add some plants, a small fountain, or hang some curtains to help absorb the sound; we were the only ones in there and it we felt a little uncomfortable because it felt like the staff could here everything we said due to the silent emptiness and high ceilings. Ambiance is everything! 2.) hire a professional server and don't just use the hostess. I realize this might have been done because it was a slow Monday evening, so it might be a good idea to train the hostess on how to properly serve in a fine dining atmosphere. We're paying for the service as well as the food - it's about the whole experience. This comes from someone with 10 years experience as both a hostess and server in a fine dining restaurant.

management is lacking insight...only one server for the full dining room, although the one server was friendly (probably part of the management) she could not do or bring anything before 1/2 hour. entree was 50 minutes after seating (self)...no hostess (we just stood there for 5 minutes) there is no wine list (select from 2 ,red or white)

The food was good, recommendable but the service really needs improvement. Two hours wait to be serve your food is not acceptable. There were only two server, their the busboys, bartender, and the one to seats people. People were leaving the restaurant and I found out it was always the case, people complain about the service.
