Very good. On going work to be performed

When I went there, my first impression was that it was a nice office. It was neat and clean, and the front desk staff were friendly. Once I started my procedure my opinion of the office changed. The hygienist scolded me like a child while cleaning my teeth. I believe her name was Stephanie, but I am not positive. Eventhough I brush my teeth everyday and I did not have cavities, somehow that translated to a disgusting mouth. I was scolded and repeatedly told that if I didn't floss and use mouthwash everyday my teeth were going to fall out. Because I try to be respectful and nice to others I didn't get rude back. But it did offend me and definately made me refuse to make a follow up appointment to go back to that office. My husband also went to this office a week later and had a similar experience. (The only reason I let him go was because he had already purchased the Groupon and I didn't want to waste money). He also has the same nurse and when she was cleaning his teeth she removed a piece of food. She said "disgusting" to him as she picked it out. He said he got the same treatment of being scolded and embarrassed by the nurse. There are no doors on the different cleaning rooms, so all the other patients could hear everything that was being said. It was very unprofessional. And then when the dentist came in, he tried to talk my husband into getting all kinds of high priced procedures done. My husband explained that since I am a stay-at-home mom, we only have one income and he couldn't afford any additional procedures at that time, just the cleaning. And the nurse made the statement "I don't know how anyone can live on only one income". Frankly, it's none of her business. So, as my husband was leaving they again tried to pressure him into scheduling the other procedures and when he refused and insisted he take home their payment brochure. So, my opionion of this facility was that the nurse was very rude and frankly the doctor has to hear how she talks to the patients. And the fact that she still has a job shows he doesn't care about the image of his business. Also, the doctor just seemed like he was out to make a buck. I guess the office merely put the deal on Groupon to get new patients to come in so that thay could embarrass and make the patients feel ashamed enough to get more expensive procedures done.

It was nice to meet the dentist on my 1st visit and he seemed professional and friendly. The dental hygienist was really good. She explained everything she was doing and checked to make sure I was not in any pain. I was very impressed with the office and plan on going back.
