About Salon 209 East

Founded in 1998 at 209 North Magnolia Street, Salon 209 moved through three locations—including a former bank, vault and all—before settling into its current storefront. There, owner and master stylist Laura Burgoon and her team revitalize clients' looks among blond wood floors and apple-, rose-, and honey-colored walls. Nail technicians, aestheticians, and a massage therapist comprise the staff, who fight against beauty's arch nemesis—a perpetually foggy mirror—with a full menu of salon services using professional products from brands such as Redken and Pureology.

Tonya not only did not allow me to use my Groupon, when I showed it to her, she told me I had to pay full price for her mani pedi or she would call the police. I gave them the info and walked out, they called the police and tried to file a false police report saying I walked out without paying and then called my employer and told them I skipped out on a bill and the police got involved. My service was terrible, nail polish peeled off the same day. Owner refuses to take responsibility or honor Groupon. I am considering taking legal action against this company for defamation of character and slander. They accused me of committing a crime to the police they knew was fake because they were too lazy to contact Groupon themselves to look up my voucher. TERRIBLE SERVICE, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
