Jilly's Arcade, Ocean City

Jilly’s Arcade was such a blast for me and my family! We absolutely loved it and plan to come back again!

Great deal. Use it several times a year

While we enjoyed the arcade, we didn't appreciate that there wasn't FULL transparency on how the "unlimited play" works. Even when the worker activated our cards, she never mentioned that you will have some wait between games. We purchased the package for 3 people. You could only play multiple times on some games like ski ball and pin ball. All the 2 player games that you can challenge each other in only let you play 1, maybe 2 times in a row, then if you moved to another game, depending on the game, you may be declined and had to wait. If you stopped a game because you weren't interested anymore, you had to wait to start a different game. This is not the definition of UNLIMITED. They should disclose that you will have a "waiting period" between games. They DID disclose that you could only use the rainbow color swipes, so you miss out on the really cool, new games. You should be able to play ALL GAMES, excluding ones that have "prizes" When I talked to the manager, and mentioned that they should mention this in the Groupon she stated that it would be too long to put in the Groupon, but they talk about the "historic building with an original carousel dome, that the arcade provides historic allure and modern fun" I'm not sure about you, but I don't care about the building my arcade is in, unless there is some safety issue. I just felt that the description was misleading. I could have put $$ on a card and played what I wanted, when I wanted, and had some left over if we wanted to leave. Lesson learned. Staff was nice and arcade is always clean and provides parking. I can't really fault the people working there, it wasn't their fault, but it was annoying.
