About Serenity Now Float Spa

You float in warm saline water—no light or sound to distract you from the moment—and as you drift into mindful meditation, the tension and stress begin to dissolve away. Serenity Now creates these float therapy experiences, providing sensory deprivation tanks filled with 10 inches of water and 800 pounds of dissolved epsom salt each. The spa keeps the solution at skin temperature, resulting in a float that feels like hovering weightlessly in air. It allows for intense relaxation, loosening up body stiffness and mellowing anxiety. After guests finish their session, the spa gently readjusts them to gravity with soft lights and music, a shower, and a post-float relaxation area.

This Groupon was very misleading. I bought this Groupon expecting to FLOAT at the FLOAT spa. Upon arrival I checked in 5 minutes early and the host was questioning me several times were the rest of my part was although it was before our scheduled time. We fill out an authorization form asking us many things in regards to FLOATING, and then she goes “let me take you back.” She puts us in this room, without an explanation of what would be happening or what to expect. It seems she put us in the “salt cave” which even then is a very far stretch to believe that was worth my time and or money.. she told us she was going to set a timer and come back.. she checked on us after ten minutes and saw we were using our phones - obviously we were misled and she didn’t say a word as to “hey, this is the experience you bought.” So the timer goes off, she lets us out of the room and walks us to the front and our experience is over. I would have never bought this Groupon to sit in a room, for even 5 minutes.. Even if I were to float I don’t believe this would have been an experience worth anyone’s time.

Floating was an amazing experience. The staff explained everything to us upfront, and everyone at the front desk was very welcoming. We were offered tea and a place to relax in the lobby. Must try for destressing and relaxation.
