Fun to do once, won't purchase again. Our experience was ruined by a bus full of whining, screaming children. Not the company's fault, but it's something to expect when you're at a family oriented event. The tour itself was fairly enjoyable. They brought us to a few houses that coordinate music with lights, but to stay on schedule, we could only do a drive-by. Next year we'll just drive ourselves.

The music was way too loud, we probably only saw lights 10% of the trip. Very disappointed. Not worth the money.

The ride was awesome and the bus was amazing. We got stuck on an icy hill for about 30 minutes. The driver apologized, but was flustered the rest of the trip. He went by the light so fast I felt like we were being rushed back. It was on okay trip, just wished we could have stopped to admire the lights longer.

The windows were iced over so you couldn't see anything. I was using a credit card to scrape it as was everyone else. The music was in and out. Kids were bored bc they couldn't see anything.

The lights we did see were beautiful but it was our driver's first time doing the route. They took up a collection at the beginning for a house we would see that takes donations but we never saw the house as our driver got lost (and did not get our money back). There were several times we circled the blocks because he did know where he was going We got stuck on a hill for close to half an hour.

The bus was horribly hot. We went by many houses that were hooked to music....it would of been nice to hear the music in the bus that the lights were going to. The tour was very slow and drawn out. I went on a tour last year and it was fun...this year we were not impressed.

Ride was very comfortable. Driver very skilled in getting around congested streets. Music was alittle loud at times.

From Our Editors

Carl Busskohl began his career as a mail carrier in 1928, but soon he found he had passengers other than parcels. When folks increasingly asked to ride along on his route between Norfolk and Sioux City, Carl saw another opportunity: he traded his 7-passenger Buick in for a 25-passenger bus, making it the first vehicle of the Arrow Stage Lines fleet. After more than 80 years, Carl's enterprise has grown to include more than 160 luxury motorcoaches—all equipped with air conditioning, reclining seats, and spacious restrooms—that ferry groups, athletic teams, and big-window fan clubs to new destinations or on local and long-distance tours.
