When I dropped my vehicle off, I was informed that because it is a push-button start, there would be an additional $30 charge. When I returned to pick up the vehicle, I was told that the $30 had increased to $50 with taxes. However, when my card was run, the total additional charge came to $64.53. At no point was this pricing clearly explained to me, and I did not approve an increase beyond what I was originally told.
More importantly, I did not receive the product I paid for. I specifically requested a remote start that would work with my factory key. Instead, an “upgraded” system was installed without my consent. I was never contacted or asked for approval before this change was made. Had I been given the option, I would have declined. The fact that this was a gift and I had to get the person their car back. I had no choice, but to accept when I was giving I would not recommend this place at all.

Set up an appointment for installation. On Monday at 8am. The door said the hours of operation was 9am. I assumed he wrote my name and number down when I made the appointment. Never got a call. They are closed on Tuesdays. My wife called Wednesday to see if the car was done. He was confused since he had two Subarus. The car was not done nor started. Not sure why he did not call. We dropped of both sets of keys was never asked if we wanted to two remotes. We were told it was $30 more since it was keyless start, did not feel like arguing the one that was purchased said keyless start. It ended up we were charged $57.
Hopefully, the product that was installed works not low confidence.

unfortunately you didn’t not leave your phone number name or vehicle information when you dropped your keys off through our drop box. yes we had 2 Subaru foresters that day that both dropped off with no name or number so that made it very difficult to get ahold of you. we do not touch a vehicle without talking to a customer the day of the appt. we waited all day Monday and Tuesday for a customer to call inquiring about your vehicle but we got nothing. once we talked to you we put your vehicle ahead of all appointments that day and had it done in 2 hours. we have never made an appointment for 8 am. all appointments start at 10 and we reserve 9-10 am for mobile interlock services. we are sorry we did not meet your standards. have a great day.

I paid quite a bit for this Groupon and I thought that this was all I'd have to pay since that is typically how it works. I ended up paying an extra 57$ which really just made it go back to the regular price. The work itself was great. The people were kind and courteous, but I was really caught off guard by the substantial amount of extra fees.
