What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? We are a small batch craft distillery and the first legal maker of whiskey in Alabama since Prohibition, offering an in-depth tour focusing on how Alabama spirits are made.

What is one of your most popular offerings? How is it prepared? We have a craft cocktail menu with a variety of delicious one of a kind cocktails. We also offer a tasting flight consisting of a taste of our silver, spice, & aged rums, vodka, gin and single malt whiskey for an additional $10. We think you’ll be surprised at the quality of our Alabama spirits.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business? We here in the Sharp family are very proud of our heritage. From the original three Sharp brothers who ventured to America from Scotland to the namesake of our company John Emerald. He lived a life to be proud of so it was only right to bare homage to him with our products and distillery.
