DoveCote has dubbed itself a modern homage to the classic French brasserie. This description is borne out in most facets of the restaurant, from its updated, Belle Époque–influenced decor to its informal yet refined atmosphere. Most reflective are the menus, designed by Food & Wine–acclaimed chef Clayton Miller, an alum of Thomas Keller's famed French Laundry in Napa Valley.

The eatery also performs numerous functions: elegant dining for the out-on-the-town crowd, and upscale coffee shop and happy-hour spot for the denizens of the Bank of America building, where it's located. Take a look at the menus for each purpose:

My husband and I enjoyed the ambiance, food and the waitress was great. They have my favorite dessert creme bruele. I would definitely recommend

Food and service was great, except they didn’t say anything when I mentioned the Groupon before ordering my meal. At the end when the check came the manager came over to tell me he wouldn’t honor the Groupon because I was dining alone, even though I ordered double the amount of the Groupon.

We were really looking forward to eating here. tons of great reviews and hype. Ordered Oyster "Stew" seems their version is a cold soup! Cold milk with raw oysters. First taste was a big NO. The definition of STEW is Heated, cooked. The server informed us that The chefs "version"is a cold concoction. Took awhile to arrive too. They replaced with the onion soup. Not impressed, odd flavor with the ox meat. Server said a huge amount of cheese on top. Nope. Nothing special there. The crab cakes, dull, mushy. The pork. Just a breaded slab. Not impressed at all. The previously perky server seemed miffed we didn't like the soup. We took most of it home. The only item that we can recommend was the souffle. But the Grand Marnier was obviously diluted with orange juice.
