Exile Restaurant and Lounge, Orlando

This looks set up to be more of a bar then restaurant. Friendly staff, food was ok. Atmosphere is probably more for going to have a drink then out to dinner in my opinion

Super Nice people and fabolous food

I am rating it 2 for this visit. I have eaten here before and love to come to dance salsa but yesterday was terrible. I had to use my groupon that was going to expire in a day so we went at 6:30 before the dance crowd would come. The waitress was nice and she had no part in the rating. The chicken wings were fried till they were like stone. Everything was hard, even the meat inside. Apparently the cook threw them in the fryer and forgot about them. There maybe 5 people in the place so it wasn’t busy. The sweet plantains were the same. They came black and burnt. You could taste the burnt. When asked if I wanted to have a to go box I said no. I usually take home leftovers to enjoy for lunch but it was so bad. My boyfriend didn’t finish his food either, beef tops and mashed green plantains. I’ve had their gyros before and they were great. I don’t understand how you could mess up chicken wings and plantains. Maybe because it was a $35 Groupon they already spent the money? I will still come to salsa dance but not to eat.

Everything was great !!! We got 2 different types of chicken wings (8-piece and 12-piece), a chicken sandwich , and drinks all for $35. The customer service was pretty dang good considering there were only two servers. Nice atmosphere. Really good place !!
