I have taken my girls to several pottery places that we have tried with a groupon and we have 2 favorite places that we like to return to - but we will not return to Pottery Pad even if we had another groupon. The selection of pottery was extremely low, our choices of items from the groupon were these 3 tiny peices, and when we wanted to pay extra to upgrade to other items they would not let us! We found 2 items we wanted to paint that would have brought them in an additional $25 - $30 but they would not put our groupon towards it. In fact - we had to leave extra groupon money wasted because they did not offer any additional small items to paint either. They were very limited on stamps & stencils and did not have fine point paints for writing. Frustrating! We will never go there again.

Pottery selection is slim. Customer service was poor. Paint colors mounted to wall made it very hard to choose colors. Music selection left much to be desired. Not family friendly when you hear the word "...uck" I didn't feel like a valued customer. I will not return. It really appears Like they will be out of business soon. With the selection of pottery, it doesn't look like they are wanting to keep business.

Not a big selection of items to choose from, but I had a great time designing and painting with my BFF.

They have a really small selection of pottery. The best thing I found was a plate.

From Our Editors

The plate beneath a meal can say as much about the chef as the ingredients in it, especially when that chef is also the plate’s artist. The sculptors at Pottery Pad offer that chance to dish users of all ages, providing the paint, workspace, glaze, and kiln to finish off premade clayware. They produce mugs, cereal bowls, and even pet dishes, arranging the sculpted products in neat rows around the circumference of their room. In the middle, long tables covered in palettes and pools of paint await the presence of a creative mind to turn each dish into a work of art.

The staff hosts individuals, birthday parties, and even entire scout troops, keeping careful track of each participant's wares. At the end of sessions, they collect the painted pieces and ready them for a trip into their 1,800-degree kiln. Once the firing is finished, they call up the piece's owner to let them know its ready and warn them to blow on it before use.
