not just makeovers, Ottawa

No just makeovers is the biggest dive in Ottawa. First of all, the business is in a private house with no signs whatsoever. The floors are dirty (ants are crawling in the corner) the table is dirty and so are the shelves. The shelves looked like they were picked up from a garbage dump. The part of the “salon” where they do hair coloring is in the kitchen. The kitchen cupboards are dirty, missing doors and the sink is full of dirty dishes. The woman who is doing the coloring is quite nice, but she told me that the Groupon means that I can have only 10 foils which means that 1/3 of my hair get highlights. If I want more I have to pay extra. I refused to pay extra and she did my whole head whispering that she understand that 10 would never cover all hair. The owner, who cuts hair, is a good conversationalist but very arrogant. He claims that he is as good as the top hair dressers and stylists in Montreal and Toronto and he is just the top…. and the advice he will give me regarding my hair is worth as much as all the super expensive salons in Montreal. My friend, your talk did not impress me. To impress people with your business you should do following: 1) Mop the floor 2) Wipe the table 3) Please CEALN the bathroom 4) Paint the shelves 5) Fix the cupboards 6) Polish your mirrors 7) For Pete sake, do the dishes 8) Register the business? To say the least, I will never go back and I would advise you to avoid this place. If my head was not covered in foil when I spotted the ants on the floor, I would just get up and leave. This place should not be called “not just makeover” it should be called “third world experience in downtown Ottawa”.

I didn't use it because the guy was so rude ont he telephone with me He told me it would cost 50$ more for the length of my hair, and he wasn't very kind or inviting I didn't feel like having a person like that work on my hair and his reviews were terrible I would like a refund as I didn't use the service
