Like a Day at the Beach, Overland Park

The physical sensations of being at the beach—the stress-melting warmth, the calm brought on by lapping waves—is what the staff try to recreate at Like a Day at the Beach. Saving their clients a plane ticket to Maui, the LDB Staff introduce them to these mechanized beds that knead the muscles with jade rollers and warm the core with infrared heat. The hands-free sessions are done without oils, so clients can leave the studio without having to shower or feeling compelled to flex their muscles. Like a Day at the Beach also provides vacuum massage, a treatment that uses suction therapy to relieve minor aches and pains. Vacuum massages temporarily increase local blood circulation, as well as temporarily diminish the appearance of cellulite and body measurements in the treated areas.
