The class was fantastic. Ed outlined everything well and with full demonstration and was willing to answer any and all questions. I would recommend this class to anyone who has ever wanted to know about grilling or smoking, no matter the skill level!

This is a great class. Ed and his staff are very informative so be sure to take lots of notes. Plus everything was delicious. I would highly recommend this class to anyone and also make sure to visit Big Ed's Buzzard BBQ restaurant in Santa Clara.

Great info class. he is a good speaker and his family is a part of the operation. A true hardworking knowlegable Chef. The tastes were fresh and ample, and there is really a science behind the BBQ. He presented his tips and company really well.

Big Ed and Ed Jr are incredible Chefs and very skilled in their craft. I learned quite a bit and got to try delicious BBQ that I cant wait to try and make at home.

Big Ed's Buzzard BBQ class was GREAT! Big Ed wend through all of the meat types (Brisket, pork butt, chicken, ribs, rib eye and tri-tip) and how to smoke them/grill them different ways for exceptional results. He kept the class very light/entertaining yet informative. He presented all of us the basics/tools for BBQing meat in your backyard that will produce top quality results. The 5 hour class kept moving at a good pace. He kept us eating throughout the class - I didn't need any dinner after the 5 hour class. I wold highly recommend the class for novice (even seasoned) BBQers. At the end of the class he presented everyone with a laminated card which listed the keys for BBQ success.

Good class learned a lot om how to smoke in precise temperatures this class is a must for beginners and professionals. Make sure and bring your appetite cause they do give a lot.

After two decades spent perfecting his secret barbecue recipes on friends and family, Ed opened Big Ed's Buzzard BBQ Inc. to bring his sauce-slathered brisket, pulled pork, and St. Louis?style ribs to the masses. Today, the barbecue master piles plates high with eight styles of smoked and spiced meat, and his chefs fashion multicourse meals full of saucy barbecue, homestyle sides such as honey-jalape?o corn bread, and desserts including peach cobbler.

Meals can be enjoyed at home or onsite at get-togethers. The shop caters a full range of staples for private events, including whole-hog roasts, pintsize sides, and binding agreements to kiss the cook. When he's not cooking, Ed can be found teaching competition-level classes, where he spends five hours covering barbecue basics.
