I’m sorry I can’t recommend Bugeaters to others. I bought the Scotty for my Toyota CH-R. My car was done shortly after noon and when I arrived to pick it up after 1:00 I found it parked outside - unlocked and running, with the heat blasting on a 61° day. I rang the doorbell, as instructed, to get my key. I rang three times and texted before the door finally opened 40+ minutes after my arrival. I was then told that there would be an extra charge because the package I bought was for a car and they were classifying my little hatchback as an SUV – a $26 upcharge. When disputed, Bugeaters said they would “eat” the upcharge. As an aside, I was detailing my car to trade it – primarily because my mother’s walker doesn’t fit in the back seat, or in the hatch unless the back seats are folded down. The CH-R is marketed as a subcompact SUV. It’s sporty, and it’s a vehicle, but there’s nothing utility about that car. Regarding the detailing… The seats and carpets looked good, but there were areas outside that were still dirty – including greasy black dirt still on the wheels. The windshield had noticeable wiper marks on the outside and was streaky on the inside. The vinyl treatment on the outside was visibly dripped below the doors and there was over-spray all around the vehicle. My experience was disappointing.
