The Las Vegas Strip: 24/7 Entertainment and Fine Dining

With an almost unlimited variety of casinos, bars and nightclubs, and live entertainment, the general consensus along the Las Vegas Strip seems to be “go big or go home.” And you can go really big here. Make a beeline for the dozens of 24-hour casinos lining the neon-lit Strip to tango with Lady Luck in high-stakes games of roulette, blackjack, and poker; or grab a front-row seat to the city’s over-the-top glitz at nightly magic, acrobatic, and musical performances. Be sure to stick around for mealtimes—casinos on the Strip are known for their fine-dining restaurants.

Even Sin City isn’t all casinos, all the time. Go shopping at the high-end boutiques found inside most hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. Head to LINQ Promenade for a shopping and dining experience, then ride atop the High Roller observation wheel. Thanks to the strip’s re-creation of the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas and the Roman Empire at Caesars Palace, you can virtually travel the globe in just a few city blocks. And you’ll find a surprising number of activities in Las Vegas for kids hidden amid the raucous nightlife.

Honestly, it's one of the cleanest hotels i have stayed in! Skip the kiosks, though & go straight to the counter to check in. The kiosk told me my room wasn't ready, but 45 min (& no email) later, we went to the counter & our room was ready.

Great location! You can’t beat the location of the Flamingo! It’s right in the middle of the strip, close to high roller, LINQ promenade, restaurants and venues. The hotel itself is a little dated. And loud! I could hear loud music until 3 a.m. The walls are so thin I could hear our neighbors conversation and sneezing. Our shower took about 15 minutes to get warm, and then it was scalding. We stayed 2 nights and never had maid service. The pool is very lively. It’s fun if you like a party crowd. Just be prepared to pay a small fortune for a drink! One medium sized pina colada was $40! There are a lot of food choices at the resort! We loved Havana for breakfast and Carlos and Charlie for dinner. The little bird sanctuary is beautiful! We loved seeing the flamingos, ducks and turtles! It was a nice place for tranquility. The check in process is lengthy. There was a long line. We ended up paying $60 for early check in. They do offer free luggage storage as well that we took advantage of after checking out.

Stay somewhere else The location of the Flamingo is great, however, the room was outdated and gross. The carpet was old and dirty. The thermostat and smoke detectors were over open holes in the drywall. The shower and bathroom were gross with rusty metal panels on the low ceiling that had hairs stuck to them. Regardless of the thermostat setting, the air conditioning ran continuously and the room was 60 degrees every morning. We will not be staying at the Flamingo again.

Bad customer service First : we check in the counter coz we decided for an early check in so we can rest . We arrived at 9am but the agent told us the earliest check in is at 11am and we will be paying $40 extra. So we come back and check in. We had the agent named Da Venash or sounds like that assist us. I told her that we reserve the 2 queen strip view non smoking . And she respond in a rude way I know. And I told her, making sure we get the room that we want coz last year we book to flamingo and we get 1 king which is not what we reserve . Coz I’m with my bro and wife so I book 2 queens again. She still insists that there’s no room boom like that . I insist. I check my email and screenshot pic of the room upon booking that time so I showed her my proof. She remained quiet. Why is she giving us a different room that is booked 6 mos ago??? And she should not be dealing with people if she got that unfriendly attitude Second- we requested for extra pillows and toilet paper and Kleenex. The Kleenex is too low.We called housekeeper and it took more than an hour to grant our request. The shampoo dispenser don’t have any refill. Good thing we always bring our own shampoo. The shower area- water coming out from the shower going to the toilet I remember the last time they have shower curtain , so suppose to be that’s the use of that rod over there
