The food was good but the service needs to be improved. You are given oil with your bread. The waitress brought over an empty bottle of oil. She put about 5 drops of oil on a dish for a table of 4 and didn't come back with any more. The waitress took our order then went to sit at the bar and play with her iPad. We couldn't get her attention when we needed more drinks and bread. We had to get the bartender to get us more bread. I did not get what I ordered and the chicken on the pizza was very dry. For the price of the food and the lack of service I would not reccomend Cresta at this time.

Hostess just rolled out of bed look, not good. glasses, silverware dirty, dead bugs in window seal, tom/moz salad, tom were "old and chewy" and the moz tasted like it was from stop and shop. took forever to place order, get food, and get check. music way to loud for a sunday brunch. Veggie stuffed mushrooms, sounds great but the stuffing was googy, not cooked.

Please use bottled water for the water at the table. The Pawtucket tap water was a bit, um, less than tasty.

The food was excellent, prices are great, but the service was RIDICULOUSLY slow. My husband and I went there on his lunch break, 45 minutes after placing our order we were still sitting there with only bread and oil and our drinks. (We had ordered sandwiches and were the ONLY people in the place) I would definitely recommend Cresta Bar based on the food and value, but don't go there really hungry or of your time is limited.

Ive been to cresta 3 times. I have lived in Pawtucket my whole life so I try and support local establishments. The first time it was ok. I wasn't sure I'd go back because the food was average but the prices are some of the highest in Pawtucket. I bought a groupon at my second visit because it made it affordable. The prices were still raised from the first time I went. The good was great this visit but the service was slow though it wasn't busy yet the waitress was nice. She did say she was uncertain about some menu items because she said it was a new menu though it seemed like the same but pricier menu to me. The third time I went along with my wife was on a Sunday. We waited a few minutes for us to get noticed and seated. There were only two other couples in the restaurant. They had finished within about ten minutes of us being seated leaving us as the only ones in the restaurant. We ordered food right away. After the order and received our food we noticed the current groupon said we could get $40 of food and a bottle of wine. It was awhile before we were checked up on by our waitress to show her this. (once again we were the only ones in the restaurant. We had to ask for silver wear. Had no salt and pepper and no asking of how our meals were). Once u hot the chance to show her the groupin offer she didn't know anything about it. And said she would ask the manager. 15 minutes later she came and asked if he talked to us. He didn't and she said he was supposed too. Eventually he did. It was the chef. He was nice an looked at the groupon but said he didnt know about it but would try and figure it out. The food was decent this time Smaller portion Whole artichokes Not overly warm but decent We waited a while again to figure it out and have them discuss in front of us that we were wrong or she didn't know what to do and how she had a crappy day and the place was falling apart. The chef/manager did his best to make things right but it took too long an the experience was ruined. The point is. I want to support local eateries but Cresta has awful management and is run like a novice restaurant not a place that should be charging the highest prices in Pawtucket. I would love if it was better but the excuses I the problems on two occasions out of three are not good. I feel the crew was left stranded a bit that night not knowing the specifics of the special offers and were raw in the ability to perform quality customer service. If there is only one couple as customers in the restaurant there is no excuse for waiting or feeling as if your patronage is not the most important thing. There appears to be a reason why we were the only ones their at that yime

From Our Editors

Nature is responsible for stimulating all the senses at Cresta Bar & Ristorante, where diners savor fresh ingredients as they bask in the shade on an outdoor patio. Fresh flourishes such as foraged mushrooms and homemade pasta embellish the entrees, which include panko-encrusted cuts of veal and chicken. More than 60 wines pair with the meals so that guests don’t have to determine complementary flavors by licking a color wheel. Diners can eat either inside or on the terrace, where marble-topped tables reflect the leafy branches that criss-cross overhead, leaving matte wrought-iron bistro chairs to lounge on the flagstone patio.
