While 30 Burgers's fare is casual, the chefs take their creations very seriously. They carefully sear their 7-ounce, additive-free patties (made with natural, free-range beef) before heaping them with either custom or precurated toppings: bacon and american cheese, onion straws and bacon with barbecue sauce, or salsa and jalapeños, for example. They take their nonbeef patties equally as seriously, topping black-bean patties with provolone and chipotle mayo, veggie burgers with feta and tzatziki, and grilled tilapia fillets with tartar sauce, cheese, and pickles.
Before opening 30 Burgers, owners opened a line of eateries known as 25 Burgers, so named for the bevy of burger types available. But in 2014, their hungry clientele proved even hungrier than they'd anticipated, so they created their current restaurant, which offers 30 types, plus paninis, sides, salads, and shakes.
