The roomy pet grooming salon and spa Chez Bow Wow in Northern Liberties aims to make your dog or cat look spiffy without rankling them during the often-unhappy treatment process. The shampoos, cuts, nail clipping and teeth brushing happen on three tables fully visible behind the counter, and all services are done with eco-friendly products. Before and after their sessions, dogs can hang out in a roomy waiting area and cats get large interconnected cages that allow for roaming. Chez Bow Wow welcomes temperamental and special-needs animals as well, and they partner with the local Street Tails Animal Rescue organization to make homeless critters look their best.
