Jill Sherman Is a good teacher. She covered the important basics in a straightforward manner which made it easy to understand and learn. I would take another class by her again.

Great instructor for the intro to digital photography. Attended with my 14 year old niece, and it was basic enough for her (and me) to understand.

If you have a DSLR camera and keep it on the auto setting take the DSLR for beginners class! You learn so much in just 3 hours! The instructor Josh was awesome! Everything was explained perfectly!!!!

I took the 3 hour beginner class and not only had a great time, but a solid learning experience. Our instructor(Josh I think) was informative, helpful, and patient. The handout that is given is useful and I've referenced it many times since leaving the class.

EXTREMELY professional, organized, kind & responsive teacher. At $60 per hour, maybe $5 or $10 too expensive - I know that's purely subjective, but might mean more students, more exposure?

They did a very nice job with the workshop that I attended. I would definitely do another one.

I found my instructor, Josh Brilliant, to be very knowledgeable and set the tone in the class that encouraged questions. I left my camera at home (I didn't recall reading in the class description to bring one's camera, so I left it at home), so I was happy to learn that I could borrow a camera! In that regard, I was surprised that the class included lecture with hands-on assignment to take photos and then use one of the photos in the application. The only initial drawback was the location, but I think once you learn how to navigate there the location doesn't seem as foreboding. I also think the facility could improve signage on how to enter the building. I went to the "side door" and then figured out how to use the intercom system (including the initials of the organization). I then noticed persons walking towards the front of the building, so I left the side entrance and made my way to the front. I also think the organization should explore selling a few refreshments (coffee, tea, water and small bags of pretzels) but restrict eating/drinking to where the books are located - or some other location that would not damage the equipment or exhibits.
