Terrible food. One piece of cheese in a grilled cheese sandwich for $7? Personnel were less than empathic. Waste of time!

My groupon expired because I was not able to visit for dinner and groupon was for dinner only. After it expired we tried to use it for lunch (knowing that there was no longer any discounts but wanted to spend what I paid for at least but was told I could only use the groupon for dinner. Shouldn't the face value be treated as cash with no restrictions since it no longer came with a discount? I didn't think this was fair..

The mgmt wouldn't let use the groupon towards cookies/snacks for the kids cause it wasn't considered a "dinner" item on the menu. They could be more flexible.

On a weekend in the winter, it is too crowded and there isn't enough to do. The bathrooms were not monitored and were disgusting with no toilet paper. Also, there are not enough people working so our dinner was wrong and it took a while to get what we ordered.

Website says downstairs is open after 6 on weekends, however employees say the website is wrong. Upstairs was way too crowded. Need to limit number of people. Food came out wrong and missing items.

Service was terribly slow. After waiting more than 45 minutes for our dinner, only half the meals arrived forcing us to wait even longer. Staff was not very apologetic.

Everything is great but the food is a little expensive for what you get

It is really for children under4. The food was great and the people were very nice. Older children really would not enjoy themselves

From Our Editors

Children crawl, climb, and careen through The Little Treehouse's sprawling wonderland, pausing only to dine with their parents at a café that Main Line Today named one of 2011's Best Restaurants for Kids. Socked feet scale sophisticated play structures and scream sonnets into pillow piles under colorful mobiles while high-quality wooden toys sow new synapses. Guests can stretch imaginations and limbs during yoga and movement classes, somersault through tumbling classes for different age groups, and schmooze with peers during seasonal and private events. Between romping sessions, tots can don bibs for a helping of organic, sugar-free applesauce at the café, where parents sip fair-trade coffee whilst navigating free WiFi and reminiscing about the steam-powered web browsers of their youth. The kitchen is open for lunch every day and for dinner Wednesday–Sunday, filling a wholesome menu with pasta, paninis, and brick-oven pizzas wrought with whole-wheat dough and local ingredients whenever possible. In clement conditions, adults can bring a bottle of wine to the outdoor terrace to watch their children play with bubbles and write chalk prescriptions for cootie remedies.
