Cryoworld Therapy uses the power of cold to reduce pain and inflammation and enrich muscles with renewed blood flow. Here, guests step into a cryotherapy chamber as tall as their shoulders for a two- to three-minute session. The chamber is cooled down to –240 degrees Fahrenheit; the body reacts to this cold by forcing blood from the periphery to the core. When they step out, the blood flows back to their extremities, invoking a feeling of energetic renewal as well as a sense of improved body functions. Cofounder Vanessa Swaringer experienced these benefits herself when she pursued cryotherapy as a treatment for bothersome hip pain.
