Nerds of Phoenix, rejoice! October marks the return of the Phoenix Fan Fest, a multi-fandom convention that celebrates geek culture worlds from sci-fi and comic to wrestling and animation. The 2016 edition features a full slate of special guests, including Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D's Brett Dalton, WWE megastars John Cena and Jake "The Snake" Roberts, and Tim Rose, who warned generations of fans about traps as Star Wars's Admiral Ackbar. In addition to celebs, the con also features cosplay meetups, a bustling memorabilia and merchandise hall, and a film festival dedicated to up-and-coming genre features and shorts.
