Wait staff is tentative and service time was very slow. If you love a good red chili dish, go for the Carne adovada, it's fantastic. Don't go for the decor service or extensive menu though, because they are sadly lacking.

Secreto was TERRIBLE. I will never go there again. I was excited to try it because it is near my house and I love to support local businesses. The moment we sat down the "bus-boy" informed us that they were very short staffed and and to please be patient with them. I can totally understand that. Sometimes that happens...but they were more than just unattentive. The waitress was rude. The food was gross. I ordered a shredded chicken sandwich because I thought the "pretzel bun" sounded yummy. The pretzel bun was NOTHING like a pretzel bun...it was more like a french roll they bought from Fry's. The fries that came with my meal looked like Ore-Ida fries that were soggy and gross. Inedible. And the waitress seemed annoyed with us the whole time. when we pulled out our Groupon she rolled her eyes. She even said that her manager yelled at her for accepting it because you weren't supposed to use it on reservations. If you don't want your customers to use the Groupon they purchased, then don't offer them!!! Then, to cap it all off, apparently the other couple we were with left a bad tip (probably for such poor service). The bus-boy followed my husband into the bathroom and handed him some cash and said "just give this tip back to the guy with the enchiladas." and walked out. My husband was completely perplexed. The bus boy put him in an extremely awkward position. We didn't leave a bad tip, so leave us alone!! We're not going to chastise our friends for poorly tipping a poor service experience. I will tell EVERYONE I know to stay far away from Secreto.

The windows are tinted almost completely black from the outside, which left you wondering... but not so much to the point where you would want to go check it out. It's actually very nice on the inside. It is on the small side for a restaurant, but they have tall booths that give you some privacy. The food was delicious and the prices were good. Very glad that I discovered this place through Groupon, will definitely be returning.

The beef taco you served looked like a 3 year old put it together with old lettuce, dry meat and a pinch of cheese. You should be ashamed of calling yourself a restaurant when Taco Bell makes a better taco! The new ownership sucks and I recommend you learn some customer service and not be so CHEAP! Get rid of the old man who is so cheap he asked if we wanted a lime with our beer! A lime always comes with a mexican beer!
