During workshops at Shelly Love Photography, it doesn’t take long for students to apply what they've learned—they begin practicing before they even leave the studio. Shelly Love founded her photography business in 2004, but didn't start offering workshops until 2011. Over her career, Shelly has spent time behind the lens to capture unique, expressive images through portrait sessions, photojournalistic projects, and wedding photography assignments. The skills that she's developed shine through educational workshops where beginners pick up the basic principles of the craft. Intermediate students can hone more advanced skills, such as using artificial light or how to work with motion, which comes in handy when trying to capture the detail of a grinning clown as it chases you.
