don't go complete waste of time-not well attended and lame vendors.

Don't park in the parking structure, too expensive. Find street parking around the event and walk.

They need way more vendors and food trucks or food booths with specials with siracha. The venue and music were neat.

Smaller than expected, but great vendors, still plenty to do and lots of fun!

I appreciate the free bottle of Sriracha at the entrance of the festival, but I could buy it at the store for much less than the amount of entry. Being that this was only year 2 of the festival, it's lacking HUGELY! It advertised drink Mixologists and lots of food vendors...there was ONE vendor giving tiny samples of their tequila (extra cost) and 2 taco stands. If it was advertised correctly, my friends and I would have known what to expect and would not have been so disappointed!

We may have gotten there too early and it was raining on and off but there were just not enough booths and things to do. We did not see any of the chefs with different recipes but again maybe were there too early?

Live music was good. They gave a bottle of Sriracha sauce. No Sriracha theme food was available. Restaurants mostly sold what they usually had on their menus. As publicized by the event, no desserts incorporated the sauce. No games of bags and mixology competitions were going on.

Very disappointing! Not many vendors, not much variety of hot sauce, no food of interest, nothing special, nothing to brag about. A waste of time and money.

$10 to get in, and then you have to pay full price for food truck food? Methinks that is horrible.

From Our Editors

It can get hot in the desert—but you can't use the Arizona sands to spice up your meals. For that, you'll need the spicy, tangy, and slightly sweet taste of sriracha, the versatile Thai hot sauce made from chili peppers, vinegar, garlic, sugar, and salt. The first annual Sriracha Festival, held in Phoenix's Heritage Square, celebrates sriracha's many uses with an evening of unlimited tastings of dishes and desserts that incorporate it into their recipes.

To match its lively flavors, the festival also includes activities such as games of bags and mixology competitions, live performances from local bands, and an array of local vendors and exhibitors.
