Runners and walkers gather for Stride for Sight's 10K, 5K, and 1-mile walk in the city to raise funds and awareness for the Foundation for Blind Children. Here, they can opt to enter the Blindfold Challenge with a partner who acts as a sighted guide. Runners can wear the blindfold the entire time, or switch with their guide halfway through so both participants may experience what it's like to navigate their surroundings without sight. It's all in keeping with the foundation's motto: "to have a world where vision loss is a diagnosis, not a disability."
