i purchased the Groupon for $35.00 for two gel manicures. The shop is close to my place of employment and I was looking for a convenient nail shop. The first manicure was adequate and the service was OK...I left a $5.00 tip when I saw that the full price was $20.00. The manicurist suggested that I return in two weeks for the next manicure. I returned this past Saturday and was told that there was a $5.00 charge to remove the polish before they could proceed with the manicure. This fee was not published on the Groupon nor was I advised of this on my first visit. While the manicurist was servicing me, I decided that I did not want the gel polish if it involved paying to have the polish removed the next time, so I asked to have just a regular manicure with regular polish (which costs less that the gel.) I was told that I would be charged for the manicure, which was $10.00. The person who appeared to be either the manager or the owner, would not allow me to use the voucher for the manicure. After trying to make her understandoint my point of view, I did not argue any further, and paid the total of $15.00. Prior to my leaving the shop, two of the manicurist began to badger me to give them my Groupon voucher. They said they wanted the number in case I complained! The $5. charge for polish removal should have been listed on the Groupon. That way, I would have made an informed decision regarding whether I would want to invest in gel nail polish manicures. When I did not give them my Groupon voucher (for the service that I did not get) they got quite upset and argumentative...one was quite rude! I would suggest to Groupon that you make it a requirement for businesses to list any "hidden" charges in association to the services being sold. So, I now have one remaining gel manicure on my voucher that I will not use because of the negativity of my experience. I have purchased two additional Groupons for other services....I hope that my experience will be a more positive one. Thank you.

I called in the morning to ask when I could get 2 in for gel manicures. After letting them know I had the groupon I was told only one person was there and she couldn't take in two people. I assumed due to the wait. So we made an appointment for 1:00. While they took one of us right away, I still had to wait almost 40 minutes for my turn. My daughter didn't care for her manicure. They didn't even paint the nail all the way to the cuticle. As for me, my color was wrong. By the time I noticed it was too late for me to change. I didn't want to wait thru the process of removal to start over. Nice people, nice place, just not organized well so I wouldn't go back.

Ladies were very nice and nails look ok, but because I used a Groupon she charged me $5 to take my gel polish off. That was basically my savings from the Groupon and then I had to go get cash because there is a limit if you use your card. I feel bad
