Float Haven Health Spa focuses on alternative paths to wellness—most notably, through the use of Himalayan salt in the halo-therapy rooms. These spaces were created to mimic the salt rooms of Eastern Europe. Pharmaceutical grade salt is turned into an aerosol and pumped into the halotherapy room. The room features a Himalayan salt brick wall backlit with a variety of colors (ask them to put on your favorite color). You will relax in their zero gravity chairs while breathing in the salt air. Halotherapy opens and cleanses the airways and is used for colds, coughs, allergies, asthma, COPD, cystic fibrosis and other lung conditions. It can help relieve eczema, psoriasis and inflammatory skin conditions too.
